Thanks guys for all the wisdom....I believe I knew the answer, but needed a 2nd opinion...
I had to renew my H1 visa, so was wondering what would happen if my GC was to get approved and my dependents remain pending, before the h1 is applied. My GC is still pending, hope to see some Green soon....maybe this year. All the best for all of you.

You don't need a "path to citizenship" to family reunification. Please do not link A-B and so C-D. They are totally two different issues.
agree 100%..... aila tries to project that it represents immigrants..... aila actually doesn't represent immigrants..... it works for the benefit of its members ..... i.e. immigration lawyers...... most immigration benefit if more people like us are stuck in the system..... if there r more applicants..... & more people stuck in the system.... then more immigration lawyers will make more money...... so family unification which has nothing to do with path to citizenship..... somehow become related...... or even synonymous.... 3 cheers for representatives of "immigrations"........

Thanks for your info..and I wish you good luck. By any chance are you aware whether i need to send new fees or old fees? As a precaution I am going to sending the diff amount in a separate check.
They should be OK with the old fee, however to be safe I would send an extra check to make up the difference for new fee. Explain it in the cover letter and let them decide.

I would like to invite motivated - "Fire in the belly" volunteers :) to help us with this effort. If you are one of the willing members please email me at jay@immigrationvoice.org so that I can send you what you need to organize this. Just send a blank email with subject line: "Membership Drive".
Trust me, this is one of the most interesting ways you can help immigration voice. Also the most critical one. And it wont take much time from each of you during the day. Just a few minutes per day of your time can make a huge huge difference.

Then what kind of visa that I have to hold between the beginning until I am ready to hire total of 10 and file my EB5.
Is there limited time frame? that I have to hire total of 10 let say within 2 years..

Not necessary. You can grow the business slowly. But only when your business grows to the size of 10 employess, you can file for EB5.

oops, in my suggestion above to shoot both lenses at f/5.6, they must also be at the same iso and shutter speed. Suggest shooting one, noting settings, then shooting the other in manual to match iso, ss and aperture.

If the non compete agreement between your employer and the vendor is about your employer directly selling your srevices to the client in the future, then you don't have any issue as you are leaving your employer.
If your client is supporting your switch to another vendor, then there seems to be no agreement between the client and vendor regarding vendor change for the same resource..
In general, cases like yours, where the client supports your move, vendors tend to play safe and ignore any non compete agreements, to save the relationship with the client

Note that u can only have passive investments (something like investing in stocks) while u are on H1B - Actively working for your business is not allowed.

Hello,
One of the clients is not considering EAD as a valid document to enter their facilities. Funny thing is their security team are ok if you have valid visa and I94 but not EAD.
I think this is more of ignorance about EAD.
Can some provide doucumentation which says discrimination of EAD is violation of Law? or some thing that says EAD is a valid document to work adn stay in the country.
I 9 form does have i 766 as valid entry.

i had tb 5 years ago,and i am perfectly ok but in x-ray still has scars.what should i do?i have a lots of tention ?becoz in gc medical exam is compulsory .even though i am perfectly ok now still have scars.plz suggest me what should i do?

I guess 485 getting current does not help much without getting i-140 approved.
It certainly helps some so their spouses can work on an EAD. And it definitely helps everyone if one needs to invoke AC21. But yes, a I-485 is not going to get approved if I-140 is pending.
