My friend came to US on January through one bodyshopper on H1B visa and he was on project for 4 months.When his project is over and he is on bench then his employer forcing him to send him a email stating that he will be on leave without pay and immediately his employer stopped paying him salary from the day he was on bench.
Can any one please guide me that how to file complaint to DOL against his body shopper.
Also i wanted to know that will DOL take any against his body shopper and what information DOL will ask as currently my friend does not wanted to confront with his employer.

Sir,
I have extended my H1b visa in Sept. 2010. I appeared for interview in New Delhi and submitted my Passport on 20th of April 2011 and today is 23rd of May 2011. What do you think that how much more time can they take?

Some had mentioned in immigration forums that you might be grilled with questions during naturalization process if you had changed employer as soon as you got your GC.If you are not planning for naturalization I assume you are fine.
A 6 month stay with current employer after GC is advised for a smooth naturalization process in future.But this is dark area as there are no posts from GC turned citizens about their experiences.
Thats not exactly true in the context of this thread. You have to work for your GC sponsorer for some period of time before changing employer. Pooch was mentioning his/her GC sponsorer is future employer. So after the GC is approved, he/she has to work for that GC sponsorer not the current employer.

Go to Airport for a defferred inspection. They will correct it. Many people here got it corrected. Don't waste time here for answer thomacha.........
Anybody who had an I94 issued only till the validity of the visa and not until the I-797? At the POE the guy simply wouldn't understand when I tried to explain to him that I have an extension (797) valid from 4/10 t0 4/11. He gave me an I94 only until 4/10. I read that people go for deffered inspection and get it corrected. Anybody who did that in a similar situation active in IV now? Any suggestions on how to proceed? do you go to the nearest international airport or an off-airport location?

Hi,
We (me and my wife) have received RFEs to submit G-325A forms on 9/24/09 and our lawyer submitted the requested documents last week on 10/20/09, on the next day USCIS online status changed to "We have received RFEs documents and this case processing has resumed........" on very next day 10/22/09 online status changed to "RFEs sent......."
Now we (me and my wife) and our lawyer received same RFEs again thoguh our lawyer submitted requested documents.
Please share your thoughts on how should i go from here...should i submit documents again?? or should i take an info pass and try to find out whats gaing on with our cases?

I work with a consulting company on client side. The client is planning a shutdown for 2 days a month - 2nd and 4th friday.
Do you guys think its gonna imapct 485 application. I am asking this question cause the labor was approved for 40/hrs per week and the salary slip shows the number of hrs worked per month which will be lesser than 160 (incase the month has 4 weeks).
BTW, I am on EAD and 140 approved couple of years back.

Am assuming that in this case clarify has to get his part time employer to file for a NEW h1, which ofcourse means he is under the h1b quota, which was exhausted on the first day they started accepting it for 2008.
So I guess clarify is better off with his EAD.

My I-485 status is updated with the below message. LUD 05/21/2009. Surprisingly they mailed the document on 09 March 2009 and status update is on 05/21/2009
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.
***On March 9, 2009*** we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

As of now, my friend is getting trained by local institutes in other IT realted field and searching for job. If things go well he might get a project in a month or so.
